Please consult your tax advisor before making a non-cash gift.

Matching Gifts

Matching gifts are a great way to double or sometimes triple the impact of your gift. Many employers will match gifts made by alumni or their spouses. Please contact Harvey Summers at 660.626.2511 or ksummers@atsu.edu for more information.

Gifts of Stock

Stock, bonds, and securities offer significant tax advantages when transferred to ATSU before they are sold. You or your broker may contact us at 660.626.2180 or development@atsu.edu.

We will need the following information to complete the transfer:

  • Anticipated date of transfer
  • Stock name
  • Number of shares
  • Name of brokerage firm
  • The fund you wish to support

Please consult your tax advisor before making a stock gift.

Planned Giving

Planned gifts provide a means of increasing your income, earning valuable income-tax deductions, and reducing your estate taxes. There are many deferred or planned giving options, including life-income plans (charitable gift annuities and charitable trusts), bequests by wills and trusts, as well as other options for your estate. Contact Brad Chambers at 660.626.2494 or bradchambers@atsu.edu for more information.

Faculty and Staff

The University's faculty and staff play a vital role in helping our non-profit University continue its history of success and accomplishment. A high employee participation rate can lend the Development's staff a hand at landing large donations and grants from external funders. Any size gift to any University, school, program, or department fund makes a difference. For more information, click below or contact Development at development@atsu.edu or 660.626.2180.
